Our Programs
Cougar Leadership Program coordinates a leadership portfolio and certificate program, a semesterly workshop series, and annual leadership institutes; administers and supports a leadership honor society; facilitates custom-designed workshops and retreats; maintains a resource center of over 300 publications, thousands of team activities and on-line resources, and much more.
 
 
Our Mission
CougarLeadership Program is committed to assisting individuals:
  • Learn the foundations of leadership.
  • Engage others in the community.
  • Act as responsible leaders in their communities.
  • Develop themselves as well as others through this learning process.
 
Our Guiding Principles
Principles which guide the direction of our programs and services:
 
    • Leadership is defined as an influence process involving leaders and collaborators coming together to intend real change for their mutual benefit.
    • Individuals at all personal and organizational levels can learn and improve their leadership skills.
    • Individuals learn and gain skills and knowledge in a variety of ways.
