Multicultural Greek Council Academic Excellence Scholarship
The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) is a vibrant collection of organizations committed to improving the community and spreading cultural awareness and education. By joining a culturally based fraternity or sorority, students actively pursue community service, leadership involvement, and higher education while forming lasting bonds with like-minded Cougs. The Academic Excellence Scholarship supports members of the MGC community who share these values.

Aaron Fandel
Interfraternity Council Man of the Year Scholarship
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) Man of the Year Scholarship was established by Aaron Fandel (’20 BA Poli. Sci.) for IFC members who serve as catalysts in leadership, service, and agency within the Greek community. As a member of Sigma Pi and a leader within the IFC, Aaron developed important skills such as self-awareness and self-improvement and discovered personal and professional growth through service, leadership, empowerment, and being an agent for change within the Greek community. IFC Man of the Year Scholarship recipients demonstrate those skills and a commitment to personal growth and community service.
Scholarship Selection Criteria
This scholarship is awarded to the IFC Man of the Year, who is selected by a committee composed of student leaders from the IFC and staff from Student Engagement Services. An annual scholarship of at least $5,000 will be awarded to the IFC Man of the Year annually in early fall.
